Forest Floor, commonly considered a native mulch, is a combination of local East Texas hardwoods and pines to make a unique blend
of rich, lush mulch. This mixture is consistent with that of a natural forest and is rich in protein and other vital nutrients.
As an extra benefit, we blend in a proprietary amount of compost to achieve a darker, richer color. Forest floor mulch is commonly
used for flower beds, mulch blanketing, walkways, and playgrounds.
Compost is organic material that can be used as a soil amendment or as a medium to grow plants. TRS's Black Gold Compost is
our most mature compost created by Mother Nature herself. Our compost is ideal for suppressing plant diseases and pests, reducing/
eliminating the need for chemical fertilizers, promoting higher yields of agricultural crops, and removing solids, oil, grease, and
heavy metals from stormwater run-off.
